For example, it can be predicted that there is going to be some major fight at some point of time. A low awareness person can act foolishly and this fight may become a long drawn battle. Another person may just try to avoid the fight and it may linger on for long time. A high awareness person may also handle this fight in such a way that it opens up a whole new opportunity for him.

If Astrology is really helpful, than India should have been a superpower, as most of the people follow astrology. On the other hand, astrology is not very popular in Western Countries, but still they are much ahead of us. Why?
It is amazing that most of the people in India believe in astrology and still we are much behind those countries where not many people have faith in it. So in spite of being an astrology nation, we are so far behind. Why?

Because, unfortunately, we have used astrology as a crutch and in the process, we have gotten disconnected with the potential within. We have turned astrology as our master and have forgotten that astrology is just a guiding tool. So astrology works for the betterment only if we remain the master and not when we become it’s slave. I feel that astrology has played a negative role and is an obstacle in the growth of our country. India will be far better off without the modern breed of astrologers.

What is the true value of astrology in our lives?
All of us are endowed with a unique potential, but sadly we remain unaware of it most of the time. The key for this discovery lies in listening to your own inner voice, as it guides you towards the appropriate path. However, it requires immense courage to move on your own unique path of individuality; as such a path is full of challenges. This is why, when we choose to live a life of comforts and ease, we very often misses out on realizing our peak potential.

In today’s world, very often we try to imitate others, as we believe that following their path will bring happiness in our lives. But such a way of living can only lead us to live mediocre lives, which can only cultivate deep dissatisfaction.

Astrology is immensely helpful for us to discover our unique potential, which can make our lives meaningful and hence shows the path one must follow to blossom to utmost potential.

Very often, why different astrologers provide different predictions for the same horoscope?
Astrological predictions are made by the interpretation of the various astrological combinations. Hence different astrologers will interpret the same horoscope differently and it will depend upon on their own understanding of life. Hence overall intelligence and exposure to life is as important as the knowledge of astrology to be a good astrologer. Not only this, the people having same horoscope are also needed to be interpreted differently and this is where intuition becomes very important. In fact, one of the reasons why astrological predictions fail because astrologers tend to predict the fixed results as described in classical text. They need to understand that interpretation mentioned there were true at that particular time and space and it was an experience of that particular astrologer who written that text. We need to be sensitive about the changing times and understand the unique individuality of that person, before we really make any predictions.

It is often very important to go the right astrologer for consultations. What are the key qualities of an Astrologer, which makes him the right guide?
One should look for 4 basic qualities in an astrologer:

• Sound Knowledge, as without deep understanding of astrology he can not interpret the horoscope correctly.
• Compassion, as he should be keen to offer helping hand and not exploit the client, as he is very often in highly vulnerable state.
• Understanding of life, as astrologer can help you come out of tight spots, only if he himself has gone through the similar situations or have been exposed to such difficulties of life. Hence you should find an astrologer who is well versed with the various situations in life and the ways to resolve them.
• Intuition, as the real resolution can only be provided by the divine powers and astrologer can only become the channel. For this to happen, astrologer must connect with the soul of client and feel oneness with him/her, as it is in this state, very often the messages from higher beings are communicated.

Do the Rituals, as prescribed by Astrologers, are helpful in dealing with tough times?
Astrologers often suggest various rituals or pujas, but these rarel7 work except for a very short period of time and then the difficulties come back with a bang. Very often we are left wondering, if all such rituals work at all?

We must realize that there is no magic in these rituals. The true magic however, lies in deep faith and surrender to god. So when we follow these rituals, a feeling of surrender develops in us, which help us tap the divine guidance. However, as few days pass, that surrender evaporates and we are back to our egoistic ways. Hence it is not the ritual which work, but rather the faith and surrender to divine. The only way to deal with astrological difficulties is to live in such a state quite often.

Is vrita helpful in mitigating our difficulties?
Most of us, have gone through the vrita, like a ritual, which we must follow. However, what we fail to realize that there is a very deep meaning behind vrata. When the gross energy of food is not available to the body, it taps that eternal source of divine energy and our conditionings begin to melt in that, as our soul awakens. Hence a true Vrata will always work, not just for one purpose, but for many of them together. As soul evolves, our response to various situations in life changes and definitely life begin to unravel in a different manner.

However, what I mentioned above is only true about the true vrata. So the question is what is true vrata? The true fast is the one, which you enjoy tremendously. If you are fasting and at the same time longing for food, you have already built an immense stress within you which will turn you into a split personality and will cause you to loose touch with your soul. Such kind of fast will only take you further away from your soul. Hence if you are not enjoying the fast, it will only impact you adversely.

Why most of the time, astrologers only point out to the difficulties and crises in life and not to the talents and opportunities?
We have noted that most of the time, astrologer points out to the negative stuff in our life. There two basic reasons for that.

First, most of the interpretations given in our classical text are negative. Why? Because in old times (and even in current times) people lived out of fear. So, for them the fear based interpretations were / are appropriate. However, the one who lives life with deep love and faith can not accept that life is scary and hence such interpretations don’t work for him. Anyone, who lives in such a way, will feel that life is a divine blessing and hence will look at life as a grand opportunity.

Second, the falling ethical standards in society have also taken the toll on profession of astrology, unfortunately. It is true that astrology looks like an organized form of mafia and it seems that many of the astrologers are keen to exploit the fear psychosis prevailing in society.
Unfortunately the fact is that most of the human beings are scared about future and hence they can be exploited very easily by showing them the forthcoming danger. And since astrologers possess this power to rule their fears, society is getting exploited by them.

I have often seen astrologers telling so many negatives of the shown horoscopes that anybody going to them will only get depressed in their lives. It is very rare to find an astrologer who truly holds hand as a well wisher and provide guidance. Some astrologers often have a motive of snatching big sum of money in the name of some puja or rituals. I have often found that such rituals do not work. Only process that works to bring one out of difficulties is to awaken your own soul, to awaken shiva within your heart.

Many astrologers suggest remaining away from the challenges and avoiding action during difficult times. Is this approach helpful?
First of all we must understand why we remain bogged down by the problems. It is because we feel that problems are bigger than us. But if we grow immensely, then we can become bigger than the problems and the same problems will appear very simple. However, if we are fighting with the problems, we are simply acknowledging their power and making them grow by way of our attention.

We need to understand a whole different approach, while surrounded by the troubles. We must enter into the challenges of life with full awareness. In this state, the problems will not only, will not bother us, but will also become helpful for our own evolution. Have you not seen that all the successful and accomplished people have faced big problems in life? In fact, it is because of those problems they faced, they got charged up to accomplish big goals in life. Hence the solution is not to fight with the problems, or run away from them, but to become bigger than the same.

Also, there are astrologers who suggest remaining away from action during difficult times. However, I must say that this is a very harmful understanding of life. If you remain inactive in your tough times, sure you can avoid some problems, but at the same time, you may not produce much results, when your auspicious times arrive. Hence, if you want big results in your good times, you have to go through the grind in your tough times. You must know that you will get the results of our action, but these will arrive only in appropriate times. Hence your efforts in difficult times don’t go waste, but they create foundation for great results in your good times.

Can the effect of past Karma be negated?
Whatever our actions have been in the past, are bound to have repercussions and hence the result of our past karma can not be negated.
However, most of the time, trouble is not really the past karma, but creating new negative karma as we lose our awareness when we get surrounded with adversity and we create further negative karma in the state of stress.

If we become aware of the forthcoming difficulties, we can save ourselves from further negative karma, which can alleviate the difficulties of our life to substantial extent. This is why, astrology is a very powerful tool in life.

Are there any dangers associated with horoscope reading? Can this be mis used?
It is true to certain extent, than when you are showing your horoscope to anyone, you are not only revealing the secrets of your life, but you are also opening yourself to his suggestions. Since you understand astrologer as the person, who can guide you out of troubles in your own life, you give him a psychological power, which he can manipulate, if he is not in immense integrity.

Also, I must say, knowing astrology is not the only qualification astrologer must have. He also much have deep understanding of the various issues you are facing and should have deep insights in life. At times, one may be an excellent astrologer, but if he does not understand the context of your life, he won’t be able to interpret your horoscope accurately. He should understand, what you are looking for in life, otherwise his guidance may not turn out to be fruitful.

Can Astrology be helpful to understand the future of any Relationship, including Marriage?
Horoscopes can be used to figure out the kind of harmony the couple will have. Though the kind of matching methods, which are currently in use, i.e. the Guna Matching, are too primitive to say anything specific about the harmony of couple. The traditional Guna Matching method only considers the positioning of Moon in a particular Nakshatra for both, the guy and the girl. It has no consideration for any other planet and houses in which these planets are positioned. More advanced method are needed to figure out the kind of life two people will have together. Energy Matrix Method is highly sophisticated and not only does exact matching of each and every planetary positioning in various houses, but also exactly tells how each year / month and day will be for the couple and describes the opportunities and conflicts between them. Though matching by way of Energy Matrix Method may be quite complex, because of the non availability of the software, but it is 100 times more effective than the traditional matching.

But at the same time, I feel that one should follow his or her own intuition while looking for life partner, rather then depending upon astrology. Such matches happen, because of the past karma pending between two souls and nothing can change that except our own awakening. Hence one should make choice out of intuition and then use astrology to understand the dynamics of the relationship.

Is Guna Matching method sufficient to understand the relationship dynamics for a couple?
Guna Matching is the most common method used for marital purposes for many centuries now. However, we witness that most of the marriage still fail to provide the happiness, in spite of good scores in such matching. So what is the reason?

I must say that Guna Matching is a very primitive method and can not give good results. This method is based on positioning of Moon and does not consider other parameters such as positioning of other planets.

Energy Matrix Astrology has a very deep method for relationship matching, which considers the positioning of every planet in nakshatra, zodiac sign as well as house. Immense details of the challenges and opportunities of particular relationship can be obtained with its help. This method can also define the important events with exact time details, which are likely to take place between both of them.

How can one handle the difficulties created by various planetary positions in the horoscope?
Shiva is considered to be the master of all the 9 planets in Vedic astrology. In fact, the planets represent our thought processes and emotions while shiva represents the consciousness. Once the consciousness awakens, we become the master of our thoughts and emotions. Hence when the shiva awakens, we become the master of our destiny. Shiva expresses himself as three divine qualities: Sat (truth), chit (awreness) and ananda (bliss).

Hence the only way to deal with the difficulties of life, as depicted in horoscope is to awaken the divine qualities of Sat/ Chit/ Ananda within yourself. But, we may not be aware of what Sat or Chit is, but we sure have witnessed the state of bliss time to time and hence awakening the bliss is the key to deal with difficult astrological formations in your own horoscope.

How can awakening of bliss help us in mastering our destiny?
You must have realized by now that Life is mostly pain and misery. The moments of happiness are quite rare and they just serve to awaken greed for further happiness, which doesn’t come and hence makes us sad further. So, when you are sad, you just keep making the mistakes and keep trapping yourself. It is really strange that how we do bad things and become so selfish in the moments of sadness.

However, when you are in bliss, the divine flows through you and you always move in the right direction. Even if you are faced with a major challenge of your life, you just relish it and go through it with a great enthusiasm. You will hence realize that when you sre in the state of bliss, every challenge helps you take the quantum leap. On the other hand if you sad, the challenge break you down further and you keep making yourself smaller and smaller.

You would be knowing that there are three qualities of GOD : SAT /CHIT / ANANDA and that is why he is called Sachchidananda. However, Ananda is the quality which is easiest to get in touch with. When you are in Ananda, Shiva awakens in your heart and begins to guide you. You must be knowing that in Astrology, Shiva is known as the master of all the planets. Hence when the Shiva has awakened, all the planets move as per his wishes and they can not throw your life in chaos and turmoil. And this is how you begin to master your destiny.

What practices are required to awaken Shiva within?
Awakening shiva is the process of discovering ourselves. Only way for that is the deep spiritual journey by way of meditation and hence to live as a soul, rather than as body and mind. Unfortunately, meditation is often mis understood as self denial practices and mantra chanting etc, but this perception is not true.

Spiritual journey is about discovering yourself and not about self denial. One can discover the true self in the state of utter relaxation and not in the state of struggle. Such a state of denial and struggle does not allow you to live in the present and hence making you insensitive to your own state of inner bliss. When one drops all kind of struggle and just flow with life, the inner bliss awakens automatically. When you live the present moment with totality, the divine descends.

Meditation can at the most take you to the state of witnessing (Sakshi Bhava). In my experience what most of the people call meditation does not even take them to this state and they get stuck at some level of mental concentration or cleaning of conditionings. Even if you reach the true state of meditation, what you accomplish is that you begin to gain freedom from the outer happiness and sadness in the moments of deep meditation. But unfortunately, the whole cluttering of the world comes back, as one is out of that state of meditation.

Witnessing is the state of nothingness. But the rule of the existence is that empty can not remain empty. There is a whole world of divine experience, which can get revealed from this state of nothingness, if you dive deeper into Samadhi. However, if you can’t dive into Samadhi, the cluttering will come back. Samadhi begins, where meditation ends. Samadhi is a state of experiencing your own eternal existence, the state of Sat / Chit / Ananda.

Is there any way to awaken shiva apart from meditation and Samadhi?
Yes there is, and the way is very simple. Spend one hour everyday doing what you truly enjoy.

Normally our mind directs us to do things to make ourselves secure in future and this does not allow us to be in present. So, even if you are with your lover, you are actually not being in present but just thinking, if he is going to propose you to marry or not and you keep trying so that he does that. See, you are not in present anymore. If you love dancing and if you begin to think that your talent is going waste and you should have been dancing on the stage, you have spoiled your bliss already. You are working in your office, but the motive is to impress the boss so that you can ask for a raise. You are cooking and thinking simultaneously, if your food would be appreciated or not. You meet a friend and get reminded of how she had insulted you last time. You are making love and begin to feel that sense of control and manipulation that this guy is now my slave and I can ask him to get anything for me.

Can you see, how we are thrown into past and future again and again. In such a state, we are the slaves to the planets. And this is what destroys us.

If you can spend just one hour a day, where there is no future, your life would be much different. The life throbs just here and now. You would see that your heart will begin to throb. Just do anything you like: Meditate, Close yourself in the room and just dance for yourself. Play with children, serve your parents with no expectations of any reward or appreciation, cook or even make love with total authenticity. Key is to be in the act, which you can just enjoy without thinking of any rewards or fears. Do whatever you like, just drop the future and come to the present.

This is the process of awakening Shiva in your heart.

When you awaken the bliss, you go beyond the mind. Mind is just a mechanism, which begins operating when there is no bliss. As we all long for bliss but we have no experience of it, mind just tries to replace this and keeps telling us how we can be happy in the future. If bliss is there, mind has no way to speak. It is shut completely. So all the methods which awaken the bliss will also take you beyond mind. These include not just working with your inner being, but also going to the group of high energy sadhakas as when you are in their company, your own energy will begin to rise.

How is Energy Matrix Astrology different from other traditional astrology methods?
Usual Vedic Astrology makes use of the planetary position at the time of your birth. These can be considered as one set of energy points, trigger of which creates the events in our lives. Energy Matrix method includes two more sets of shifting planetary positions, which can be combined with the fix planetary positions in your birth chart. These two shifting positions can be calculated by Karmik Progression Method (An entirely new astrological invention) and Solar Progression Method, a Western Astrology Method adopted for Vedic Astrology.

So these 2 sets of shifting and one set of fixed planetary positions leads to total 36 energy triggers in a birth chart, as every set includes total 12 planets. Interaction of these energy triggers among themselves as well as with Transit planets gives the most accurate prediction of forthcoming events.

In terms of practical applications, what is the additional benefit of Energy Matrix Astrology over other methods?
Energy Matrix is the most accurate astrological method ever discovered, which can predict short term as well as long term events with a great accuracy. No other method comes close to Energy Matrix in terms of such accurate predictions. It can predict the future events to the accuracy of day, hour and minute. It also describes the character of probable event to quite an extent, though it one needs to be highly intuitive to figure out the nature of exact event.

Often 11th house planets are misinterpreted and it is difficult to figure out their true impact on life. Why?
Astrologers have been perplexed with the phenomenon of 11th House planets being detrimental instead of being beneficial. There have been many explanations, but none of them holds true on deeper scrutiny. However, Energy Matrix Method provides the explanation, which can be tested practically.

This method assumes that every planet shifts from the position it is in, considering the natal horoscope. For example one may have Mars in the 11th house. For many years, it will give the whole result of being in 11th house. But at some point of time in life, be it at 18, or at 31 or any other age, it’s effect will shift to 12th house. Same way all the planets move forward. I have discovered two kinds of motion of planets. One of the motions is similar to the way it is defined in Western Progression method and it based on the speed of the planets. However, I have discovered another kind of motion of planet, which is based on the Nakshtra Lord. I call this Karmik Progression.

Practically, you must have observed that many planets of 11th house gives the effect of 12th house, as well many of those placed in 8th behave as if they are placed in 9th house. Every astrologer with substantial experience knows this. Energy Matrix Method calculates this motion of planets precisely. So it can tell you the age, when the effect of planet will shift from 11th to 12th and from 12th to 1st etc.

In my experience, since astrologers are not aware of such motion of planets and they consider only the position in natal chart, many of their predictions fail. I hope, astrology can receive a quantum leap by using Energy Matrix Method.

Is there any reference of Karmik Progression Method in classical text?
Though there is no direct mention of this method in classical text, it is based on the same insight on which the most commonly used Vimshottary Dasha Method is based. To understand Karmic progression Method, we must first understand the basic reason behind changes in Dasha. Dasha change happen because Moon moves though the various Nakshatra, speed of which depends upon the Lordship of that particular Nakshatra. Like When Moon is moving through Mars Nakshatra, it will cross the Nakshatra in 7 years. So actually Moon moves forward and in this process also changes its Rashi and hence the house. So it moves ahead and in the process moves in the next house in which it was placed at the time of birth.

Now, let us take this understanding further. It is not just the moon, which moves ahead in Nakshatra, but all the other planets too (including outer planets, which are not part of Vedic Astrology). Karmic Progression Method calculates the age at which these planets will change houses and hence will bring the long term changes in life.

If every planet moves ahead in Karmic Progression, do their own Dasha too impact us apart from the commonly used Moon progression based Vimshottary Dasha?
Every planet has its own Dasha, I mean all the 12 planets and lagna. So there are 13 Dasha in total. Every Dasha has its own power, even though the Moon based Dasha is at the center while all others act at the periphery. So every planet is in a certain Dasha period at the time of birth (As computed by KP method) and it moves ahead exactly like Moon moves and it changes house in the process.

How the Western Solar progression Method have been adopted within the parameters of Vedic Astrology?
Solar Progression Method, as commonly used in western astrology, have been adopted to be applied within the parameters of Vedic Astrology and it provides amazing results. One of the basic differences in Vedic Astrology and Western astrology is that the concept of house and house ownership is quite well defined in Vedic astrology, but remains very hazy in western astrology. Hence Solar Progression method is applied considering the parameters of Vedic Astrology. Progression charts defined by this method forms one of the three sets of moving energy points to be considered.

Why this method is called Energy Matrix?
Every natal planet as well as progressed planet as per karmik or western progression method, is an energy point, which interact with each other as well as with the transit planets to create triggers, which leads to specific events. Since this method deals with such a matrix as defined by the three sets of energy points, this method have been named as Energy matrix.
